Grip Tapes is excited to announce that Grip Tapes artist Logan Pate has changed his nom de plume and will now record and perform under the name LITTLE HOLLOW. We'll let Logan explain...
"One day, while searching the net for baby names - as one does when their life is full of stimulation and revelry - I decided to type in my own name, Logan.
The name Logan, of Gaelic origin, means "from the hollow" or "little hollow." I thought, "... hm. That's interesting."
hollow [ˈhɒləʊ]
noun 1. a small valley between mountains
adj 2. recessed or deeply set
3. having a reverberating, sepulchral sound
4. insincere; cynical
Well played, Mom."

Brer Rabbit, the debut full-length from Gross Ghost is the culmination of two years packed full with disconnected phone lines, unreliable transportation/gear, lost jobs, friends and family members and yet, some undeniably fun times. It's not going to change the world of music and it doesn't expect to. Rather, just like the last couple of years in the lives of Mike and Tre, the duo behind Gross Ghost, these 11 songs attempt to provide a respite from those days when all the cards are on the table. Some of these songs may sound like they were crafted with the sun and surf in mind. While that isn't the case, a longing for an escape of any kind was what brought these songs to life. It's been a long time coming, but we hope you find something to take from their scant retelling of how they saw the sights around them. Brer Rabbit is out now as a limited-edition pressing of 300 twelve-inch clear vinyl LPs and for digital downloadt.
